Meet the artist

Hi, I’m Jennifer Gabriella Giordanelli—but you can call me Gaby. I was born and raised in Venezuela and now live in Chicago. For years, I built my career in spreadsheets and tax deadlines, but something was missing. In 2024, I adopted Canelo, a sweet shelter pup who brought so much joy into my life that he reignited a part of me I had long set aside—my creativity. Soon, I was drawing again, and art became my outlet for joy. Today, that spark has grown into Giordanelli Art, where I turn colorful moments into pieces that celebrate the simple things.

How it all started

Giordanelli Art was born in a season when I needed to slow down. Burnout pushed me to ask:What truly brings me joy? The answer was clear—creating art that lifts spirits and brightens spaces. My first collection,Chicago Dogs, was inspired by Canelo and my new home in this city. It reminded me that art doesn’t always need to be profound—sometimes it just needs to make you smile.

What drives my art?

My work is about capturing what matters most—family, pets, and the little details that make life meaningful. I create pieces that turn ordinary memories into timeless keepsakes, full of color and joy.

My Mission

Through Giordanelli Art, I want to celebrate the extraordinary in the everyday. My hope is that each piece inspires kindness, connection, and a sense of belonging. A big part of my mission is also raising awareness for dog adoption and, in the future, partnering with nonprofits that give dogs like Canelo a second chance at life.
